Halifax Historical Museum in Daytona Beach, FL is features artifacts from local Native Americans. The museum includes items from Spanish and British colonial times, pioneer family artifacts, and World War II items.

The museum is also a research facility for the community. Here you can look through old city directories and documents.  They also have an extensive collection of early postcards and photos. The museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday for a small admission charge.

Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum is located at 2400 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL. This museum was founded by a group of auto racing fans in order to preserve Daytona's history of stock car racing. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

Museum of Arts and Sciences is located at 1040 Museum Blvd in Daytona Beach is one of the most unique museums in Florida! Attractions combine entertainment and education for all ages. An appealing nature preserve showcases many of Florida's native plants and animals. A planetarium for children provides interactive exhibits as well. This is a museum you won't want to leave.
 
Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is located at 78 E Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach and exhibits Florida artists and promotes art appreciation. Most anticipated events at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens is the Starry Starry Night in January and the Art in the Garden event in the spring.

Pioneer Settlement for the Creative Arts is located at 1776 Lightfoot Lane in Daytona Beach, is great for families and history buffs. This historic village features buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The settlement also houses a museum and guided tours. Demonstration and workshops are popular as well as the Barberville Jamboree Festival which is held annually.
