Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory in Daytona Beach is a free attraction. Free chocolate factory tours and free samples to taste after the tour. Located at 154 South Beach Street in Daytona Beach.

Birthplace of Speed Park
is open daily and features a dune walkover and a picnic area. Located at SR40, at the Atlantic Avenue Beach Approach, in Ormond Beach

Daytona 500 Experience
is located at the corner of Bill France Blvd. and International Speedway Blvd. Feel the high energy of Daytona 500 with interactive games, driving simulators, and a "NASCAR 3D IMAX Experience" in the Coca-Cola IMAX Theatre. There is also a 30-minute Speedway tour and souvenir and apparel store.

Gamble Place on Spruce Creek
is 150-acre facility is home to hundreds of native flora and fauna, including beautiful cypress trees, alligators, pileated woodpeckers and osprey. The grounds also feature historic buildings including a "cracker-style" house built in 1907 by James Gamble (of Proctor and Gamble), the Snow White House, modeled after the Walt Disney animated film, and a citrus packing house. Klassix Auto Museum is a “must-see" museum for fans of race cars and vintage motorcycles. Located at 2909 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach

Watch manatees at Blue Spring State Park. Every spring the manatees gather at the springs. Visitors can view the endangered animal during the spring. From November through March, the manatees leave the colder waters of the St. Johns River for the safety and comfort of the 72-degree spring. Camping, cabins, canoeing, fishing, boating, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, and nature trails are available. 2100 West French Avenue, Orange City, (386) 775-3663.

The Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet is a small facility packed with tons of cool ocean wildlife and hands-on exhibits. There are seahorses to alligators and sharks in this science center that will be sure to please kids.
The Marine Science center has a separate unit that is just focused on saving turtles. You can see the wounded and rehabilitated turtles from behind glass. It’s $5 for adults, $2 for kids

Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse
in Ponce Inlet is the second tallest lighthouse in the United States at 175 tall and is a designated a National Historic Landmark. The lighthouse still has original buildings intact and a museum village with several buildings restored and houses museum exhibits. Climb 203 steps to the main gallery for a spectacular view of Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach. Located at 4931 S. Peninsula Dr., Ponce Inlet.

Sugar Mill Gardens in Port Orange is a botanical garden with a 17th century sugar mill and machinery, and extensive botanical gardens with ancient trees, shrubs and exotic plants. Located at 950 Old Sugar Mill Rd, Port Orange

Sunglow Pier
is located in Daytona Beach Shores. Fish the beautiful Atlantic Ocean from this well lighted fishing pier that features fish cleaning areas, a bait shack, bench seats, Crabby Joes restaurant, and more. Located south of the Dunlawton Bridge on Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Shores.
