Daytona Beach Convention Center
The Ocean Center is located on the peninsula in Daytona Beach just across from the Atlantic Ocean. This complex hosts many activities. Home shows, ice skating, trade shows, local high school graduation commencements, and performances by national artists are just a few of the events hosted by the convention center.
The complex is also capable of hosting sporting events and concerts that will hold nearly 10,000 people.
The Ocean Center is huge and has two levels with concession stands for all events. The facility is top notch and has been integral to the growth of our community.
The Peabody Auditorium is a historic landmark located at 600 Auditorium Boulevard Daytona Beach and is adjacent to the Ocean Center Complex. The auditorium is home to performances of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Daytona Beach Symphony Society, the Daytona Beach Civic Ballet, and hosts local school and college events as well as performances by national performers.
Peabody has had performances by stage famous entertainers such as Liberace, Red Skelton, Liza Minnelli, Shirley MacLaine, Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, James Taylor, Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops, Tom Jones, Louie Armstrong, Gregory Peck, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Engelbert Humperdinck, David Copperfield.
There are many hotels close to both the Peabody Auditorium and Ocean Convention Center if you are visiting the area. The Daytona Beach Hilton Resort and Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort are within walking distance.
