In its 5th year, the Halifax Oyster Festival  gets bigger and better.

Where: Manatee Island Park, Downtown Daytona Beach FL

When: April 26 - 27th 2014

Admission: Adults $10 Kids $5 Ages 7-12 Under 7 FREE
 
This year the Festival has lengthened to 2 days and have 4 national touring bands. On Saturday, April 26 The Outlaws, and BlackHawk take the stage, and on Sunday, April 27 Victor Wainwright and The Royal Southern Brotherhood performs!

All Children's Playground Phase II in Port Orange celebrates grand re opening!

The celebration will be for the playground area that has been under construction since October at the ALL Children's Park!

Phase II renovations were funded by a Volusia ECHO grant.

Where: All Children's Playground 5959 South Spruce Creek Road

When: April 10th 2014 ceremony starts at 5:30 pm

 New equipment consists of 2 pirate ships with sails, portholes, along with cannons and slides!

There are also accessible swing sets and equiment for children of all abilities!

A splash pad was installed with synthetic turf which will be protective to the kids!
